Just found out from the lovely Jennifer Brandt Taylor that this was taken at C.C. Brown's, a soda fountain in Hollywood, which was also a late-night favorite of Marilyn's - and where the hot fudge sundae was supposedly invented!
Sadly it was demolished about 10 yrs. ago - I will never get why things like this are allowed to happen!
